"Hello Whende...I have tried calling you to discuss your concerns, but I keep getting your voicemail. Please call me back. I see your premium did increase $27 at its last renewal. I am very sorry you are so upset by this. Please know this isn't just your policy. There have been rate increases statewide over the last 24 months...for ALL of us (including our competitors). We are all experiencing it(myself included)! ☹️ I see you have been with State Farm since 1998 so, I want to respectfully remind you that rate cycles happen over time. Sometimes rates go up and sometimes they go down depending on the loss ratios for the entire risk pool. This is NOT criminal...it is simply about collecting enough in premiums to pay our losses and being able to deliver on the promise we have made to you and every other customer. It is the opposite of criminal…it is the right thing to do. Even with this increase, I am confident you will still find your premium to be VERY competitive. I would suggest you shop around so you can see for yourself. If you compare your policy's coverage, coverage amounts and deductibles, I believe you will find your rate with State Farm to be quite low. While this exercise will not make paying the premium any easier, it may help with the frustration and anger you feel towards State Farm. In addition, I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for being our customer for almost 30 years. Please know your loyalty doesn't go unnoticed or unappreciated.
